The Material Girls Quilt Guild is an organization dedicated to the art and craft of quiltmaking for quilters of all ability levels. The Material Girls Quilt Guild began in 1996 with 40 quilting sisters. We currently have 100 + members, meeting at 7:00 PM the third Thursday of the month, September through June, at the Holy Family of Nazareth Church at 750 Union Street, Leominster MA.

Membership is limited to 125 members. Our membership is currently at maximum capacity and we have a waiting list. If you are interested in being put on the Guild wait list or would like additional information about the Guild, please send an email to: materialgirlsinfo@yahoo.com. Guests are welcome to attend one meeting free, unless there is a guest speaker, in which case a $5.00 fee will be charged.

Membership Wait List~If you are currently on our membership wait list, you will receive a call after our October 20th meeting to inform you of any openings.

Members may participate in a variety of activities including:

  • Block of the Month
  • Block Swaps/Challenges
  • Show and Tell
  • Comfort Quilt Projects
  • Fabric & Magazine Swap (Bring what you don't need & take what you can use)
  • Workshops
  • Guest Speakers
  • Bi-annual Quilt Show
